On 2 November 2026 the Swedish Competition Authority (SCA) unconditionally approved Telenor’s acquisition of Bahnhof, following a Phase I review.
The SCA, based on contacts with the parties, competitors, customers and the postal and telecom regulator, conducted a thorough assessment of the effect of the transaction and concluded that it would not significantly impede effective competition in the supply of broadband subscriptions in Sweden.
The team was led by Petter Berg and Lyu Georgiev, working closely with Mannheimer Swartling.
