Daniel Gore is a partner based in RBB’s London office with over fifteen years’ experience in competition economics consultancy. He is a co-author of The Economic Assessment of Mergers under European Competition Law (Cambridge University Press 2013, translated and republished by Law Press China 2017). Daniel was featured in Who’s Who Legal Competition Future Leaders 2017 survey, which recognised his “great depth of knowledge and strong grasp of the details” and “technical excellence” in horizontal and vertical mergers.
Daniel has advised on mergers notified to the European Commission, the UK Competition and Markets Authority and other domestic regulators in Europe, as well as regulators in Australia, Brazil, China, New Zealand, South Africa and South Korea. He has advised on the commercial implications of dominance regulations, and provided economic analyses on the competition implications of horizontal and vertical agreements between firms. He has also assisted clients involved in the UK and South African market investigation regimes.
Daniel’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, including petrochemicals production and distribution, insurance, power generation, music publishing, banking, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, broadcasting, telecommunications, and retailing.
