RBB’s Helsinki team will host the next seminar in their series on the economics of competition, focusing on the topic of cartel damages.
The session will examine the assessment of cartel damages, including the economic tools used to quantify cartel overcharges and resulting harm. The team will discuss methods for identifying overpricing, assessing pass‑on along the value chain, and understanding how overpricing affects demand. The seminar will also consider the practical relevance of these issues in legal proceedings.
