RBB economists provide expert testimony in a Chinese antitrust court hearing

RBB Economics has provided expert testimony supporting Qihoo 360 (represented by King & Wood Mallesons) in its recent litigation against Tencent for alleged abuse of dominance. The hearing was held at the Guangdong High Court on 18 April 2012. It was the first time international competition economists have provided expert testimony since the introduction of the Anti-Monopoly Law in 2008.RBB submitted a report covering the relevant market in the context of the litigation, the extent of competition in the market, and Tencent’s dominance.
