Alia joined RBB in 2024 after ten years at another leading economics consultancy in Germany and has since established and leads our Berlin office. She brings deep experience across Phase I and Phase II merger control, abuse of dominance, and private damages litigation, advising clients before the European Commission, the Bundeskartellamt and other national competition authorities. Her recent work includes advising on high-profile transactions Liberty Media/Dorna Sports and Google/Wiz, as well as supporting a large digital platform in the German FCO’s Section 19a ARC investigation – one of the most closely watched digital markets proceedings in Europe.
