On 22 April, the Norwegian Competition Authority (NCA) cleared Karo Healthcare’s acquisition of Aco Hud Nordic, conditional on divesting the Locobase brand.  Both Parties are active in the in the market for personal care products and following a Phase II investigation the NCA concluded that the transaction would reduce the level of competition in sales to pharmacies in the sales of treating skincare products, while other product overlaps where found not to raise concerns. 

The transaction was previously cleared in Sweden, Finland and Poland without conditions.
