
Sancho Pérez is a Senior Associate based in Madrid. He holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the Pompeu Fabra University, the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Carlos III University of Madrid. Sancho has experience delivering economic analysis and evaluating competition issues across various industries. He has also significant experience providing expert witness before Spanish courts of justice.
Since joining RBB Economics in 2022, Sancho has advised clients on competition matters before various competition authorities, including the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC), the European Commission, and the Chilean Competition Authority (FNE).
He has provided economic advice on a broad range of competition issues, including horizontal mergers, abuse of dominance, economic dependency, intellectual property royalties, and follow-on damage assessments.
Sancho’s sector experience spans a wide range of industries, including intellectual property, transportation, advertising, gas, electronics, postal services, and retail.
