Martin Laczkó is a Senior Associate based in RBB’s Amsterdam office.
He has advised clients on a wide range of competition matters before the European Commission as well as national authorities and courts.
Martin holds an MSc in Economics from Bocconi University. Prior to joining RBB, Martin gained experience in competition economics at the Hungarian Competition Authority.
Since joining RBB in 2024, Martin has advised clients on a broad range of competition matters before the European Commission and various national competition authorities and courts.
He has experience delivering economic analysis and assessing competition issues, with a particular focus on damages litigation and merger assessment.
He has advised numerous high-profile clients, such as Scania and Google (Alphabet).
Prior to joining RBB, Martin worked at the Hungarian Competition Authority’s antitrust unit. During his two-year tenure, he worked on several abuse of dominance cases and sector inquiries.
Martin’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, including digital markets, automotive, media, telecommunications, retail, and construction.
A Hungarian national, he is fluent in Hungarian and English.
