Jonathan is a Senior Associate in RBB’s Paris office. He holds an MSc in Economics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Law from the University of Cape Town.
Since joining RBB in 2022, Jonathan has advised clients on a wide range of competition matters before the European Commission, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority, and the South African Competition Commission, alongside various other global authorities.
His expertise spans mergers, market studies, damages estimation, and abuse of dominance cases. He has a broad industry background, with particular experience in sectors including big tech, telecommunications, retail, mining, transport, and manufacturing.
Jonathan has supported numerous high-profile clients on complex mandates, including Google’s acquisition of Wiz, Synopsys’s acquisition of Ansys, and International Paper’s merger with DS Smith.
