César de los Ríos is a Senior Associate based in RBB’s Madrid office. He holds an MSc in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics and a BSc in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru. César has advised clients on a wide array of competition matters across various industries and jurisdictions.
Since joining RBB Economics in 2022, César has advised clients on a wide range of competition matters, including mergers, follow-on damages litigations, abuse of dominance investigations, regulation and intellectual property rights. He has worked on cases before the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) and in other jurisdictions such as the United Kingdom and Chile.
His experience spans many different industries and sectors, notably banking and financial services, the dairy industry, intellectual property, telecommunications, transport infrastructure and digital markets.
A dual Peruvian and Spanish national, César is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
