
Calum Young is a Senior Associate at RBB Economics, based in Melbourne. He joined RBB’s London office in 2019.
Calum has provided advice to clients on a range of antitrust matters including mergers with horizontal and conglomerate concerns, as well as cartel damages litigation and abuse of dominance investigations.
He has worked on multiple cases before the European Commission and has supported clients on investigations conducted by national authorities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, Turkey, and Singapore.
His experience spans numerous industries including semiconductor design software, server hardware, IT infrastructure software, construction chemicals and supplies, and insurance brokerage.
Calum has advised clients including Synopsys, Broadcom Inc., Sika AG, Willis Towers Watson, Scania AB, and Google.
Calum holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol.
