Annabelle Leclercq
Annabelle is an Associate Principal based in RBB’s Brussels office. She has significant experience in merger assessment, having worked on many investigations raising horizontal, vertical and conglomerate concerns. She also advised clients on other competition concerns including abuse of dominance, cartels and follow-on damages.
Since joining RBB, Annabelle has advised on a wide variety of competition cases before the European Commission and domestic competition authorities including in France, the UK, Germany and Czech Republic. Her experience spans a wide variety of matters, including mergers involving both horizontal and vertical issues, abuse of dominance, anticompetitive agreements, market studies, cartels and follow-on damages estimation.
Annabelle has advised numerous high-profile clients such as Vivendi, Veolia, eBay Classifieds Group, EssilorLuxottica, Euronext, Saudi Aramco, Google and Antargaz. Annabelle’s experience spans a range of sectors including fast moving consumer goods, waste and water management, cement, online platforms, eyewear, stock exchanges and petrochemicals.
Annabelle joined the firm after completing an MSc in Business Economics from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Prior to joining RBB in 2020, Annabelle worked as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she provided economic advice related to regulated industries.
A Belgian national, Annabelle is fluent in French and English.
