
Alex Roda is a Senior Associate based in the Madrid office.
Alex has advised multiple clients on damage estimation matters before the Spanish courts. His experience also includes advising clients on investigations by the Spanish competition authority for infringements of Articles 101 and 102 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU). Alex has also advised clients on merger control before the European Commission and the Mexican competition authority.
His experience includes cases in the oil, pharmaceutical, banking, home appliances, and automotive industries, as well as in digital platforms and marketplaces, among others.
Alex holds a degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University and a Master's in Competition and Market Regulation from the Barcelona School of Economics. A Spanish national, Alex is fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan.
