Abraham del Pozo

Abraham del Pozo is a Senior Associate based in RBB’s Madrid office.

He has experience delivering economic analysis and assessing competition issues across a range of industries, with a particular focus on damages litigation and merger assessment.

Abraham holds a BSc in Economics and a BSc in Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid.

Since joining RBB in 2023, Abraham has advised clients on a broad range of competition matters before competition authorities and courts. His experience includes the economic assessment of horizontal mergers, as well as the estimation of damages in follow-on litigation cases related to alleged infringements of Article 101 TFEU. He has contributed to the development of economic frameworks and empirical analyses to evaluate counterfactual scenarios, quantify overcharges and assess the effects of alleged anticompetitive conduct. He has been involved in merger proceedings before the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission, and has worked on follow-on damages cases concerning alleged restrictions of competition, including information exchanges, abuse of dominance, and unfair competition.

His work covers a variety of industries, including banking and financial services, digital advertising, telecommunications, transport, outdoor advertising and manufacturing. Across these engagements, he has applied econometric and data-driven techniques to support the estimation of damages and the assessment of competitive effects in complex litigation contexts.

A Spanish national, Abraham is fluent in Spanish and English.
