Svitzer/Adsteam: Assessing unilateral effects when monopolists merge

In February 2007, the UK Competition Commission (hereafter, the “CC”) cleared the acquisition of Adsteam Marine Ltd. (“Adsteam”) by Svitzer-Wijsmuller A/S (“Svitzer”).
