The Konkurrensverket, Sweden’s competition authority, has dropped its abuse of dominance investigation into exclusive contracts entered into by Ticnet, the Swedish subsidiary of Ticketmaster. It found that exclusive agreements with duration between one and four years between Ticnet and entertainment venues/promoters did not foreclose the market despite Ticnet’s leading position as a ticket sales agent.
