In October 2012, the head of the Russian competition authority presented "best practices" in pricing for firms active in different types of markets. The document discusses various possible pricing benchmarks, including export parity, import parity and domestic prices in other countries, that may be used to determine/assess prices charged to Russian consumers. RBB has produced a commentary on the presentation (in Russian), which can be downloaded below. A brief summary of the commentary (in English) was published in the e-Competitions Bulletin, see "The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia proposes new pricing guidelines", 26 October 2012, e-Competitions, N°50362, www.concurrences.com.
