Jan Kees Winters is a Principal based in RBB’s office in The Hague. Before joining RBB in 2013 he worked for 14 years as an economic expert at the Netherlands Competition authority (NMa) and its successor the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
Since 2006, he held the post of Deputy Chief Economist/Senior Economic Officer at the NMa/ACM. Jan Kees was directly involved in hundreds of competition cases and has represented the Authority both nationally and internationally.
Jan Kees also has a strong academic background, with 17 years of experience in academia. He holds a PhD in economics from Leiden University.
