ACCC v trivago – RBB expert testifies in Australian Federal Court

RBB has provided expert testimony in the Australian Federal Court hearings into the claim by the ACCC against trivago.  The ACCC has alleged that trivago made misleading hotel pricing representations in its television advertising and on its website, which presents deals offered by online travel agents (such as booking.com and hotels.com) and hotel proprietors.  An RBB team led by Patrick Smith, assisted by Severin Haugg and Daniela Lamparelli, prepared and submitted an expert report and Patrick testified during the trial in the Federal Court.  RBB was instructed by KWM, solicitors acting for trivago.
