Tim Reuter is a Senior Associate based in RBB’s Brussels office. Tim has advised clients during merger control, horizontal and vertical agreements and abuse of dominance investigations conducted by the European Commission and national authorities. He has also provided economic advice in the context of damages litigation and settlement or arbitration proceedings in countries including Germany, Austria and France.

Tim holds a Diploma and a PhD in economics from the University of Konstanz. Part of his dissertation was written at the Center for Advanced Studies in Law and Economics (University of Bonn), an interdisciplinary research group working inter alia on competition law matters. He has published on the economics of competition law in peer-reviewed journals such as the Rev Ind Organ and the Eur J Law Econ.

His industry experience includes telecommunication, online distribution, advertising, payment services, music rights, hotels, postal services, branded consumer goods and various industrial products.

Tim’s professional experience includes a stage at DG Comp, where he was involved in two Phase II merger control cases. He is fluent in German and English and has a good understanding of French.
