Stephen Lewis is a Partner based in the London office of RBB Economics. Since joining RBB in 2005, he has worked on mergers raising both horizontal and vertical concerns before the EC Commission and UK competition authorities. He has advised Google for over 10 years on a range of competition matters and is the lead economist on the Google Search EC case. He has also advised clients in a number of litigation and arbitration cases involving both Article 101 and Article 102 disputes.
Stephen’s experience covers a range of sectors, including shipping, aerospace, leisure travel, advertising, microprocessors, hard disk drives, medical instruments, FMCGs, retailing, live entertainment, motor vehicle manufacturing, mobile operating systems and online search.
He has published articles in European Competition Law Review, the e-Competitions Bulletin and the Information Systems & Economics e-Journal, and is a co-author of The Economic Assessment of Mergers under European Competition Law (Cambridge University Press, 2013).
Stephen studied economics at Oxford University and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
