Paul is an Associate Principal in RBB’s London office. Paul has worked as a competition economist since 2013 and has worked extensively on matters before the European Commission, as well as various national competition authorities and courts, including the UK Competition and Markets Authority and Competition Appeal Tribunal.
He has advised on merger cases raising both horizontal and vertical concerns, including Rentokil/Cannon, Essilor/Luxottica, Comcast/Sky and GE/Alstom. Paul has also advised clients, such as Alphabet (Google) and Royal Mail, on investigations of alleged anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance and follow-on damages litigation.
Paul holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and studied Economics at the University of Warwick and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
