Meltem Bayramlı is a Senior Associate based in RBB’s office in The Hague. She holds a PhD in Law and Economics from the joint doctoral programme of Erasmus University Rotterdam and University of Bologna and an MSc in Economics and Business with specialization in economics of markets, organizations and policy from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Since joining RBB in 2013, Meltem has advised on competition matters before the European Commission, as well as before the national competition authorities in China, South Korea, the UK, India and South Africa, amongst others. Her experience spans horizontal and vertical mergers, abuse of dominance cases and cartel investigations. She has worked on competition issues across a wide range of sectors, including container shipping, power generation, oilfield services, sugar production, online shopping and financial services.
A Turkish national, Meltem is fluent in Turkish and English.
