Jacob Muller is a Senior Associate in RBB’s Johannesburg office. Jacob joined RBB in 2017 after completing a Masters degree in Economic Science (cum laude) at the University of Cape Town. He also holds an undergraduate degree in politics, philosophy and economics from the University of Cape Town, with honours in economics.
Since joining RBB in 2017, Jacob has worked on various competition matters relating to mergers, market investigations, the assessment of price fixing and market allocation and abuse of dominance, damages litigation arising from cartel conduct and financial fraud, as well as competitive neutrality investigations. Jacob has worked on matters across a number of jurisdictions, including South Africa, Australia, Namibia and Zambia.
Jacob’s experience covers a range of sectors, including aviation, container liner shipping, rail transport, mining, online classifieds, private healthcare, fast-moving consumer goods, cement and construction, broadcasting, sports retail, waste management, and music publishing.
