Francesco Rosati is a Partner in RBB’s Brussels office. He has advised clients on numerous high profile investigations of mergers, anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance and state aid. His practice focuses primarily on cases before the European Commission and the French Autorité de la Concurrence, but he regularly advises clients also in relation to national proceedings in a number of other European and non-European countries. In addition, he has acted as expert witness in multiple damages claims proceedings as well as other court and arbitration proceedings in France, Sweden, the Netherlands and the UK.

His experience spans a wide range of industries, such as financial services, telecoms, automotive, transport, media, electronics, basic industries, food and drinks, and a number of branded consumer goods. Clients he has worked for include British Airways, Ericsson, Heineken, HSBC, Moody’s, Lagardère, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Royal Canin, Schneider Electric, Shell and Vodafone.

Francesco publishes regularly on the economics of merger control, Article 101 and Article 102 TFEU and has given a number of seminars and trainings on these topics. He holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Rome. Before joining RBB he also undertook postdoctoral research at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris.
