Enrique Cañizares is a Partner based in RBB’s Madrid office. He has 15 years of experience in the application of economic analysis to competition policy, regulation and damages valuation. He has advised private companies within the context of investigations and merger control proceedings conducted by the European Commission and the antitrust authorities of Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and Turkey. He has also acted as advisor to competition authorities and regulators such as the Spanish telecommunications regulator and the Bolivian multi-sectoral regulator (SIRESE). Enrique has provided expert testimony in a wide array of cases before national and international courts of justice, including the EU General Court.
Enrique regularly writes on competition topics in specialized publications. He has coauthored a study on merger remedies across the EU for the Institute of Competition Law (e-Competitions).
