Daniel Gore is a Partner based in RBB’s London office with over ten years’ experience in competition economics consultancy.  He has spoken at the Association of Competition Economics’ annual conference, lectured on the role of economics in state aid control at Kings College London, and is a co-author of The Economic Assessment of Mergers under European Competition Law (Cambridge University Press, 2013).

Daniel has advised on horizontal and vertical mergers investigated in a range of jurisdictions, including the EU, the UK and South Africa.  He has advised a number of firms on the commercial implications of the abuse of dominance provisions in European law, and provided economic analyses on the competition implications of commercial agreements between firms.  He has also assisted clients involved in the UK and South African market investigation regimes.

Daniel’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, including petrochemicals manufacturing and distribution, insurance, banking, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, broadcasting, telecommunications, and retailing.
