Yan joined RBB Economics in 2006 and is now a senior associate based in the Melbourne office. She holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, specializing in industry organization.
Yan has been involved in a number of high profile competition cases before both the European Commission and national authorities, including in the UK, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Australia. That experience includes advising on a number of in-depth Phase II merger investigations, on alleged abuse of dominance matters, and investigations of agreements.
Yan has experiences in a wide range of sectors, including mining, music, advertising, electricity, health care, airlines, hospitality, and grocery retailing.
