Matthijs Visser joined RBB in 2004 and is based in The Hague. Matthijs has worked as a consulting economist since 2001. Prior to this he held positions with the Dutch Competition Authority (NMa) and Ministry of Economic Affairs, and with the European Commission’s DG Competition.
Matthijs has advised clients on a wide range of competition issues under EU, and national law, including mergers and acquisitions, abuse of dominance cases, and competition law related litigation and arbitration matters. He also has extensive experience of advising providers of telecommunication and broadcasting services on the economic issues related to sector specific regulation.
